American Bar Association 2025 Asia-Pacific Conference

On February 27, Axinn partners Lisl Dunlop and Tiffany Rider will speak at the American Bar Association's Asia-Pacific Conference, being held February 26-28 in Singapore. 

Lisl will speak on the "Navigating the Complexities of Global Merger Control: Strategies for Uncertainty in Cross-Border Transactions"  panel. Mergers and acquisitions are increasingly facing tighter merger control scrutiny and challenged by regulators across the world. Panelists will discuss issues on the horizon for global merger control, the complexities ahead for cross-border deals, and the strategies for managing uncertainties in timing and outcomes.

Tiffany will speak on the "Ready for a Dawn Raid in the Digital Era?" panel.  When authorities show up for an unannounced inspection, it can be stressful for employees and disrupt normal business operations. Making the right preparations can help minimize the damage to the business and shape the course of the investigation. Panelists will discuss new challenges and best practices in the digital era, particularly for multinationals in the APAC region.
