Axinn partners Bradley Justus and James Hunsberger will speak at Complaw's Advanced EU Brussels Conference, being held November 25-27.
On November 25, James will speak on the "Merger Control in Dynamic Markets: Ecosystem Theories of Harm & Other Developments" panel. Speakers will discuss:
- How the authorities are approaching below-threshold mergers in the digital sector;
- Ecosystem theories of harm after Booking / Etraveli;
- If there is a need to reform EUMR to address “killer acquisitions” and;
- The role of data in mergers and what companies can do with it.
On November 26, Bradley will speak on the "Regulator's Roundtable." Speakers will discuss:
- Current enforcement priorities;
- International cooperation between NCAs;
- Prospects for EU/ UK cooperation;
- Regulation 1/2003 and;
- How the NCAs are developing and what they will look like in 5 years’ time.
