On September 28, Axinn partner Lisl Dunlop spoke on a panel entitled, "Emerging Theories of Harm: Killer Acquisitions, Vertical Mergers & Innovation" at CompLaw's EU Merger Control Conference in Brussels.
Panelists discussed Illumina/Grail and implications for the European Commission's approach to killer acquisitions; if the European Commission is adopting a tougher approach in non-horizontal mergers and if there will be new merger control regulation; the UK Facebook/ Giphy case; and innovation and mergers. An economist also gave their perspective on the topics discussed.
