Virginia Journal of International Law 69th Annual Spring Symposium

On March 4, Axinn partner John Briggs and associate Kail Jethmalani spoke at the Virginia Journal of International Law 69th Annual Spring Symposium in Virginia. John spoke on a panel entitled, "A Global Perspective on Antitrust Laws." Kail spoke on a panel entitled, "Antitrust Review in Transnational Mergers and Acquisitions."

John's panel discussed the ways in which aspects of antitrust law in the United States differ from the laws of other nations. The panel led a conversation about how various legal regimes compare and what they could learn from each other. Kail's panel explored issues, considerations, problems, and solutions in the antitrust review process of cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
