Gulrukh Haroon is an associate in Axinn’s intellectual property practice. Her practice focuses on patent litigation matters, particularly cases brought under the Hatch-Waxman Act and other biopharmaceutical matters.
Gulrukh graduated with high honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as President of the Muslim Law Students Association and was a member of the Moot Court Board. While in school, she worked in the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Law Clinic, earned multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, and received the Davis Mock Trial Competition Winner of the Best Advocate Award in 2019.
Prior to joining Axinn, Gulrukh was a summer associate at a boutique law firm that specialized in patent and trademark law for U.S. and international technology companies. Here, she worked on patent drafting, patent litigation for medical device and environmental technology cases, trademark prosecutions before the USPTO, and trademark infringement matters.
She obtained her BS from the University of Connecticut where she double-majored in Biological Sciences and Political Science.
Experience
- Representing Alvogen in a patent infringement action filed by Novo Nordisk Inc. and Novo Nordisk A/S. The suit initially involved four patents and 26 claims.
