Kyle has substantial experience guiding clients through complex merger reviews. His recent experience includes serving as lead global antitrust counsel to VMware in its landmark $69 billion acquisition by Broadcom and representing Ball Corporation in its $5.6 billion sale of its aerospace division to BAE Systems.

Prior to law school, Kyle was an honors paralegal in the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition for three years, working on investigations and litigations involving mergers and anticompetitive practices.

As global lead antitrust counsel to VMware in what The Wall Street Journal has called “one of the largest technology mergers ever,” Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP helped VMware secure global regulatory clearances in more than 10 jurisdictions to clear the way for the closing of the transaction.

Axinn represented Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, in its approximately $1.85 billion acquisition of PeproTech, Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of recombinant proteins. The deal closed on December 30, 2021.
