Axinn Promotes Stacie Ropka and Jeny Maier

Stacie Ropka was promoted to Partner in the Intellectual Property Group. With a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology, her practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, due diligence and client counseling, with an emphasis on the life sciences, biologics and biologic-based pharmaceuticals. Stacie’s IP counseling and due diligence experience includes extensive counseling for product development efforts relating to biologics and reconstructive biomaterials, including monoclonal antibodies and products that utilize adult stem cells. In addition, she also serves on trial teams for patent lawsuits involving major pharmaceutical companies.
Jeny Maier was promoted to Counsel in the Antitrust Group. Her practice focuses on advising parties to M&A transactions on domestic and international pre-merger notification requirements and substantive antitrust issues, as well as assisting clients with responding to civil and criminal antitrust investigations, and defending related class-action litigation. Jeny advises clients on antitrust issues relating to pricing practices, distribution and marketing arrangements, intellectual property license agreements, and standard setting activities. She works with clients across a broad range of industries, with particular experience in the technology, telecommunications, transportation, health care and pharmaceutical fields.
