Axinn Relocates to Iconic Rockefeller Center Office Space in New York City
Growth-oriented law firm will occupy 28,000 square feet at 45 Rockefeller Plaza
January 29, 2025
Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP announced today that it has relocated its New York headquarters to 45 Rockefeller Plaza. The new office space, spanning 28,000 square feet on the building’s 33rd floor, will accommodate over 65 lawyers and business professionals from Axinn. This move places the firm in a prestigious location in the heart of Manhattan.
“Our new office in New York, located in the iconic Rockefeller Center, marks an exciting milestone for our firm. It provides the perfect environment for delivering our world-class antitrust, intellectual property, and litigation services to clients,” said Jeny Maier, managing partner at Axinn. “The thoughtfully designed space promotes a modern and collaborative atmosphere that supports our employees’ professional growth, enhances our ability to attract top talent, and creates an inviting setting for engaging with clients.”
With the expiration of its lease at the previous Midtown location, Axinn has moved into its new space at 45 Rockefeller Plaza, a 40-story art deco-style building. The firm designed this new office to enhance flexibility and foster opportunities for collaboration and growth. The office showcases Axinn’s distinctive new brand, launched in October, and reflects the sophistication of the firm’s work for clients such as Google, Thermo Fisher, Alvogen, and Tyson.
“One of the key reasons we chose this space is its unique ability to strengthen our connections with each other and our clients,” said Ann Westover, chief operating officer of Axinn. “Everyone on our team will benefit from the vibrant energy of this location, which is arguably one of the most desirable in Manhattan.”
One of Tishman Speyer’s most well-known properties, 45 Rockefeller Plaza is situated among the heart of iconic landmarks such as Radio City Music Hall, NBC Studios, and the Top of the Rock Observation Deck. Axinn employees will have full access to the Tishman Speyer “ZO” amenity program, which offers tenants global access to exclusive clubhouses, wellness services, and curated experiences. This program also includes access to famous attractions, perks at various retailers, and a range of high-end dining options.
Axinn was founded in New York City in the late 1990s by lawyers from leading Wall Street firms, all sharing a vision to deliver the highest level of service in antitrust, intellectual property, and high-stakes litigation matters. The firm’s recent accomplishments include securing global antitrust clearances for Broadcom’s $69 billion acquisition of VMware and defending Google in a trial against the federal government’s claims of monopolization in online advertising. In 2024, Axinn won Global Competition Review’s Law Firm of the Year (Americas) and Merger Control Matter of the Year (Asia Pacific) and was a finalist for Chambers USA’s Antitrust Law Firm of the Year. The firm now boasts more Chambers-ranked antitrust lawyers than any other firm in the country and was recognized by BTI Consulting’s Litigation Outlook as “Distinguished” in IP litigation and a “Litigation Leader” in commercial litigation.
