GCR Nominates Axinn Partner Rachel Adcox for Lawyer of the Year
January 24, 2023
Global Competition Review has nominated Axinn partner Rachel Adcox for a GCR Award for excellence.
Shortlisted for GCR Lawyer of the Year in 2022 and Litigator of the Year in 2021 and 2019, Rachel Adcox continues to stand out amongst U.S. antitrust litigators. The Axinn partner steered teams in multiple major antitrust litigations with billions of dollars of damages at stake in 2022, including on behalf of Tyson Foods in hundreds of individual cases before federal and state courts in the broiler chicken, pork and turkey matters. She also led an arbitration trial team that successfully defended a single client respondent against antitrust conspiracy claims purportedly valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Adcox remains lead counsel for Alvogen in the sprawling Generic Pharmaceuticals Pricing antitrust litigation and for the Alliance for Safe Online Pharmacies in a treble-damages class action case alleging a conspiracy to prevent PharmacyChecker.com from accessing internet platforms. On behalf of RelayHealth, a wholly-owned subsidiary of McKesson, she secured final approval of a settlement amounting to a fraction of a percent of the estimated damages.
The finalists were chosen by Global Competition Review’s editorial team and GCR readers will decide the winners through an online vote. The winners will be announced at GCR’s 13th Annual Awards Ceremony on March 28 in Washington, DC.
